Sport is the entry-level trim for the Audi A6 Sportback, but it comes well-specified with a twin-screen setup inside, leather upholstery, adaptive cruise control and a 360-degree parking camera. Having a heat pump as standard is useful for maximising range in winter. Manually adjustable seats are a shame, though.

The Sportback has an official range of up to 466 miles, which is incredibly impressive and about 20 miles more than the A6 Avant. More importantly, that’s almost 40 miles more than a Mercedes EQE can manage, and it’s 60 miles up on a Polestar 2 Long Range.

Furthermore, the A6 gets advanced charging technology, which means it can top up at speeds of up to 270kW, which can add nearly 200 miles in 10 minutes. The 10-80% charge time is just 21 minutes, despite the battery being so big.
